We Ride Together Scholarship Fund

DVG Equestrian is proud to present our We Ride Together Scholarship Fund for equity deserving youth in the Comox Valley and Campbell River. Two riders will receive scholarships of $500 to further their equestrian goals in 2026. 

 

Eligibility and FAQ

> Who is eligible to apply?

• Two youth riders will be chosen, one a current student of DVG Equestrian and one from outside of DVG Equestrian. 

• Riders must be located within the Comox Valley or Campbell River area. 

• Youth from ages 12 to 21 are able to apply. 

• Youth must be from an equity deserving community. An equity-deserving person belongs to a historically disadvantaged group facing systemic barriers, requiring targeted support for equal access to opportunities and resources, encompassing categories like Indigenous peoples, racialized individuals, people with disabilities, and 2SLGBTQIA+ persons, who are denied fair outcomes due to societal discrimination. Please note, this is not an all encompassing list. 

• Youth must demonstrate financial need. 

> How do you apply?

• Deadline to submit your application is February 6th, 2026

• To submit your application click the link below.

• Riders will be chosen by February 13, 2026 and Funds will be distributed in early March. 

> What can you use these funds for?

• Each rider will be awarded $500

• Funds can be used towards anything that will further your equestrian goals, such as clinics, horse shows, or necessary tack.
